Smart
Alignment Guides
When dragging layers, purple snap lines automatically appear when your layer
aligns with the canvas center or the edges/center of other layers. This helps you position
objects with pixel-perfect precision.
Layer Grouping
Organize layers into collapsible folders for clean project management:
- Select layers: Use the checkbox next to each layer in the
Layers panel
- Group: Check 2+ layers, then click the Group button
- Collapse/Expand: Click the arrow on a group folder to collapse
or expand it
- Group controls: Toggle visibility or lock for the entire group at once
- Ungroup: Click on
the group header to separate layers
- Synchronized editing: Grouped layers drag, lock, hide, and delete together
Boolean Shape Operations
Combine or cut shapes like a pro. Check exactly 2 layers, then
click one of the Boolean buttons:
Union (Merge) — Combines both shapes into one seamless shape with no
internal edges
Subtract (Cut Out) — Cuts the top shape out of the bottom shape
(cookie-cutter effect)
Intersect — Keeps only the area where both shapes overlap
Results can be chained! Subtract
again from a Union result to create complex shapes.
Context-Aware Tools
The left panel automatically shows the right tools when you select a layer.
Select a text layer → text options appear. Select a shape → shape settings appear. This removes
clutter and speeds up your workflow.
